Things are made faster with agile projects

Response

Whilst things may appear to be made much faster when Agile is adopted, it’s more a case of perception than reality. The focus on completing the important things first, means they receive the resources they require. This in turn pushes back the order other requirements. This change in approach coincides with Agile teams new mantra to ‘stop starting and start finishing’, which minimises work in progress, which in turn makes Agile more efficient. This new approach combined with a lean and multi-release strategy means certain items are never started. eradicating the risk of ‘gold platting’ solutions, which was often observed prior to the rise in popularity of agile.
