How to run an effective Stakeholder Review Ceremony

Establish whether the output from the last iteration meets yours/Agile team’s original goal (following a demo or review of the output).

Challenge the performance charts, including the Feature roadmap. Is velocity increasing, flatlined or in decline (inc. elapsed time). Try to understand what is influencing performance.

Discuss resource or scope challenges or issues. Discover how you (stakeholder/sponsor) can help improve performance. I.e. go prepare to obtain Stakeholder feedback.

Inquire about the next iteration (i.e. sprint) goals and discuss how you can help the Agile Team increase their velocity.

Review and agree actions, ensure stakeholder/sponsor activities are confirmed via email by the Product Owner.

Remember, we don’t want the Product Owner to recreate info (ppt) that already exists in current systems. ‘Come to the work”
