Scope is constantly changing

Scope is constantly changing within an agile led project to best reflect the needs to the customer and internal and external factors. However, the scope of an active sprint is not allowed to change. The Agile Team whilst taking guidance from the Product Owner on the latest priorities, continue to refine and extend the details of the product backlog, the feature roadmap and individual user stories, as their implementation period approaches. Efficient Agile Teams commit to regularly coming together to collaborate on these activities and to assign preliminary estimates (i.e. story points) to individual user stories as part of reaching agreement on their scope context, acceptance criteria and conditions of satisfaction, and to surface potential issues and challenges.
