Product Owner directs the agile team

Whilst the Product owner is responsible for setting the goals and priorities of the Agile Team, they are not responsible for directly managing the members of the Agile Team. The Agile Team takes collective responsibility for co-analysing, co-designing, co-creating, co-delivery and co-support the all aspects of the project activities. The greater sense of ownership Agile Team members is one of the key factors that influences the increased levels of motivation, amongst a self-organising Agile Team members due to a greater sense of ownership and influence, fuelled by a clear separation between the definition of the “what needs to be created” and the “how it is created”.
