Whether the Agile Team has chosen to manage their product backlog and its implementation on a daily basis in a physical or digital world, they must remember to invest time displaying an array of visual management artefacts in their colocation space to encourage face to face communication. By bringing everyone together to discuss and create a common understanding of the purpose, goals, status of the agile team's work with the need for creating detailed and lengthy documentation.

The recommended Team Visual Management layout for colocation is part of the activities undertaken by individual Agile Teams when defining their 'Team Norms.'

Team & Team Norms (WOW) Identified the team (name), its members, Mission & current quarter Key Results.

Customer and Business Value (inc. Personas/Research) The C&B Value area of the Team's collaboration space typically shows the key customer and business goals and the progress.

Performance and Outputs Charts showing the Objectives and Key Results, and Key Performance Indicators are displayed showing real-time status (progress). Area also shows a brief selection of burn down charts or cumulative flow diagrams.

Health Checks and Engagement A simple table defined by Sprints or month periods reveal team attendance, happiness and overall maturity (e.g. Agile 12 Principles Maturity Assessment).

Feature Roadmap The Feature Roadmap presents clearly when Business Value in the form of Product FEATURES are released on a Quarterly basis.

Implementation Roadmap (Sprint) The Implementation Roadmap .
shows how Features are delivered via a series of Epics within a single Month (2 Sprints).

Activity Board (Sprint or Kanban) The Activity Board (SPRINT)
shows how Epics are delivered via a series of User Stories within a single 2 Week period.
